Digital Interactive Trail | Daily, 10am – 4pm
Uncover fascinating facts about Ushaw’s past and meet some of its historical figures. Through interactive digital storytelling, you’ll hear directly from the workers and residents who helped shape Ushaw, revealing their extraordinary stories, secrets, and daily life within these historic walls. Head through our wicked forest, which have been transformed into haunting trail, filled with wonder, mystery, and a touch of fright. Entry free with Membership or Day Pass, no pre-booking required.
Japanese Celebration of Culture | Tuesday 28 October, 10am – 12pm
Enjoy a morning of Japanese Culture with students from Teikyo University in Durham. Learn about Origami, Japanese Calligraphy, chopstick games and discover Japanese traditional dress. Entry free with Membership or Day Pass, no pre-booking required.
Leafy Lanterns | Monday 27, Wednesday 29 & Thursday 30 October, 10:30am – 11:30am
Come along for a glowing autumn craft. Inspired by our beautiful gardens and stunning patterns spread throughout our historical chapels, you are invited to create a leafy lantern to light up the dark evenings. Booking required, you can do so here
