Visitor Welcome Supervisor & Duty Manager

(full and part time options available) – £21,000 pro rata

You will be responsible for ensuring all visitors to Ushaw receive a warm welcome and have a positive experience of Ushaw whether visiting our heritage and cultural offer and events or  attending a conference or meeting. We are looking for a confident and friendly person/persons who will take responsibility for the smooth delivery of day to day site visitor operations and inspire a team of staff to offer great customer care. Visitor Welcome Assistant

We are looking for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join our visitor welcome team and ensure that visitors have an excellent experience when visiting Ushaw or attending an event or conference. You will join a hard-working team and be involved in supporting visitor and café sales and events organisation and delivery. You will be required to work some weekends and evenings.

Security Officer

£8.91 per hour – 30 hours plus

We are looking for a reliable security officer to manage the security and the safety of Ushaw’s estate and building occupants throughout the evening and night. Along with security duties you may assist in supporting events, activities and checking guests into their accommodation. We are looking for applicants who have a positive customer focused attitude and want to be part of Ushaw’s growing
team.

Facilities and Building Manager

(full time) – £25,000

This post will support the maintenance and functionality of Ushaw Historic House, Chapels and Gardens and its use by staff, tenants and visitors. You will work closely with the Director of Estates and Projects to assist in overseeing and supporting the ongoing maintenance plan for the buildings and estate.

Housekeeping Assistant

Salary: £8.91 per hour

Hours: 18 hours per week minimum over 7 days, includes some weekends

We are looking for someone with high standards and attention to detail to join our housekeeping team. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all spaces including the magnificent historic chapels to the event spaces, accommodation rooms and all communal areas.
