Spring into Nature this Half Term, as we celebrate spring in our gardens. See what you can get up to at Ushaw below.
Spring Walk & Crafts l Tuesday 30 May & Friday 2 June, 10:30am – 12pm
Join us for a beautiful nature walk on some of the less well trodden paths through the Ushaw grounds. Listen out for bird calls and try your hand at identifying the plant life we have around us. At the end of the walk, get creative and enjoy some nature crafting, painting wooden birds and making clay nature imprints to take home.

Movie Mornings | Wednesday 31 May & Thursday 1 June, Film starts at 11:30am
Kick back, relax and enjoy a family movie in our stunning Victorian Theatre. Plus, lots of snacks will be available too!

Spring Stitching | Thursday 1 June, 1:30pm – 3pm
Join members of a local independent stitching group, and stitch your own hobby horse. All materials and tuition provided.

Our Toy Takeovers are back once again, as we’ll have with heaps of track and trains for your young engineers to construct and play to their hearts content.

Make an Impression | Saturday 27 May & Saturday 3 June, 11am – 2pm
Become an imprimeur and take your the chance to see a variety of printmaking equipment, have a go yourself by creating your very own artwork that you can make and take home with you.
