Christmas at Ushaw

Step into the magic of Ushaw Historic House this Christmas and experience a celebration filled with tradition, creativity and community spirit.

Marvel at the traditionally decorated Main House and Chapels, and discover enchanting displays – from magnificent trees and handcrafted book-inspired installations to joyful artwork created by over 1,000 local schoolchildren.

In the Parlour, a festive table awaits Father Christmas’ visit, surrounded by stunning floral arrangements and a glittering tree. Continue through the Cloisters, where local groups and artists share their Christmas creations. And as you reach St Cuthbert’s Chapel, it won’t just be the beauty of the architecture that stops you in your tracks.

On display until Monday 5 January, 10am – 4pm (subject to seasonal opening times, fresh displays may conclude earlier).
