Chapter & Verse
Ushaw’s book group welcomes all readers who are interested in reading and discussing books about faith and religion. The group is called Chapter & Verse, and will meet monthly to read a mix of fiction and non-fiction with a religious theme or connection.
The next meeting of the book group is on Tuesday 20 October at 1.30pm. For this meeting we will be reading The Power and the Glory by Graham Greene.
If you would like to start reading ahead of our November meeting, our book will be Don’t Forget We’re Here Forever by Lamorna Ash. It’s an exploration of a new generation’s search for religion, and should be the basis for a good discussion. We’ll be meeting on Tuesday 17 November at 1.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to join the Chapter & Verse book group – come along and join the conversation, even if you have not had time to read the book! No pre-booking is required, and the event is free with Ushaw membership or a day pass.
