Brilliant Bottle Rockets!
This February Half-Term, take family fun to new heights with Brilliant Bottle Rockets at Ushaw! This hands-on workshop is perfect for curious kids aged 4 and up, and it’s sure to ignite their imagination as they explore the exciting world of rocket science.
Sessions take place at 10:30am – 12pm & 1pm – 2:30pm on the following dates:
– Monday 24 February
– Tuesday 25 February
– Friday 28 February (AM only)
What’s in Store?
- Creative Design: Little engineers will unleash their creativity as they design and decorate their own bottle rockets.
- Hands-On Building: Guided by our friendly workshop leaders, children will construct their rockets using recycled materials, learning how everyday items can transform into something extraordinary.
- Exciting Launches: The grand finale awaits as participants launch their creations, discovering the thrill of propulsion and the science that powers real rockets.
Recommended for children aged 4+
Adults do not need a ticket for Brilliant Bottle Rockets but a Membership or Day Pass is required.
Please be aware that this activity will take place outside, so we advise to dress yourself and your child for the weather.
All young people MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the activity.
