Barking – A Celebration of Dogs in Art

Calling all dog lovers! Join us as we celebrate the nation’s wonderful love affair with its four-legged best friends in a new outdoor art exhibition.

From dogs in action catching ducks to sitting sweetly with their gentrified owners, Barking – A Celebration of Dogs in Art, captures all sides of the beloved pooch through the ages and across County Durham.

Paintings, sculptures, prints and ceramics from collectors and organisations across County Durham and beyond will feature in the exhibition, which runs at Ushaw between Friday 8th April – Sunday 3rd July.

Brought to you by Create North, the exhibition is free for Ushaw Annual Pass holders or included with Daily Admission.

Alongside the exhibition, join us for Hounds on the Bounds, a one-off family event on Sunday 24th April!
