Brilliant Bottle Rockets!
Young rocket scientists and their grown-ups are invited to Ushaw’s annual Rocket Lab! Take family fun to new heights with Brilliant Bottle Rockets at Ushaw, a hands-on workshop which is perfect for curious kids aged 4 and up. It’s sure to ignite their imagination as they explore the exciting world of rocket science.
Sessions take place at 10:30am – 11:30am & 1:30pm – 2:30pm on the following dates:
– Monday 23 February
– Tuesday 24 February
– Wednesday 25 February
– Thursday 26 February (10:30am – 11:30am only)
What’s in Store?
- Creative Design: Little engineers will unleash their creativity as they design and decorate their own bottle rockets.
- Hands-On Building: Guided by our friendly workshop leaders, children will construct their rockets using recycled materials, learning how everyday items can transform into something extraordinary.
- Exciting Launches: The grand finale awaits as participants launch their creations, discovering the thrill of propulsion and the science that powers real rockets.
Recommended for children aged 4+
Accompanying adults do not require a ticket to the workshop, however admission applies.
Please be aware that this activity will take place outside, so we advise to dress yourself and your child for the weather.
All young people MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the activity.
