Axum Folk Ensemble – Live from The Lounge

Head to Ushaw for an afternoon of folk music live from Francis Thompson Lounge.

Axum is an eight-piece folk band from the North East of England, weaving together traditional tunes from across the British Isles and beyond into lush, captivating new arrangements. Their music blends rich harmonies, inventive instrumentation, and heartfelt energy, perfect for formal seated concerts, festivals, or atmospheric background music at special events.

Past performances include: Beamish Open Air Museum May Day Celebrations, Tall Ships Blyth and Sunderland, The Sage Late Shows, Seaton Delaval Hall, Ushaw Historic House, Sunderland River Festival, Jesmond Festival, and various summer fayres.

Takes place at 2pm, entry included with admission and membership.
