Young Archaeologists’ Club Taster Sessions
Bring the whole family to Ushaw as we proudly introduce our brand new Young Archaeologists’ Club on Sunday 2 March!
We will be running taster sessions for budding archaeologists or any young people wanting to discover more about local history and take part in hands on activities.
Take part in artefact demonstrations, object handling activities and have a chance to develop new archaeological knowledge and skills.

Ticket information
- Pre-booking required, Non member children require a day pass in addition to ticket for entry to the event.
- 10am-11am for 7-11 year olds.
- 11am-12pm for 7-11 year olds.
- 2pm-3pm for 12-16 year olds.
- Parents/guardians should remain with young people for the session, everyone is welcome to take part.
