Way Back When: 1940s

Following the success of our first Way Back When event last year, we’re delighted to announce that it will be making a return.

On Saturday 16th July we will be taking a step back in time to the 1940s.

You can expect:

  • A number of stunning 40s/military vehicles on display, including a National Fire Service Auxiliary Towing Vehicle.

  • We will also be welcoming back the 29th Field Kitchen with their British Army cuisine.

  • An impressive (loud!) firing display.

  • We are delighted to welcome back Colin Bourdiec with his incredible tribute to George Formby and others + we welcome vintage vocalist Jenna Highfield.

  • Get your dancing shoes on with some Jive Dancing and Tea Dancing demonstrations by Dianne Ross Dance Academy’s Social Dancers.
