Music for a Royal Occasion – a Concert of Choral Music
In this coronation year, join us on Sunday 26 March, for an evening bejewelled with choral music linked to royalty.
The Durham Cathedral Young Singers and Neville’s Cross Community Choir join together with the Choral Scholars of Durham Cathedral and the Northern Consort under the directorship of Simon Lee to present a diadem of choral favourites.
Including Vaughan Williams’ ‘O Taste and See’, John Rutter’s ‘This is the Day’ and Handel’s Zadok ‘the Priest’ taking place in the glorious acoustic of St. Cuthbert’s Chapel.
