Meet the Birds

This Easter Monday come for a family stroll in the gardens and meet the amazing birds from Gosling Raptors who are back by popular demand.

Izzy the Tawny Owl will be returning and bringing her friends on their first visit to the beautiful outdoor classroom at Ushaw. We will be introducing Nika the Bengal Owl, Wizard the Black Barn Owl and Sunny the Barn Owl.

For a suggested donation of £2 you can hold these marvellous creatures and get a close up look at real owls. Stuart from Gosling Raptors will be on hand to answer any questions you might have.

Takes place from 11am – 2pm, no pre-booking required.

Included with Ushaw Annual Pass and Daily Admission.
