Life at Ushaw
Life at Ushaw gives an insight into the day-to-day life of some of the people who lived and worked at Ushaw during its time as a seminary and boarding school.
In the recorded memories and the information panels you will be able to discover more about the lessons that were taught, the sports that were played and the army of domestic workers that was needed to keep such a vast estate running.
This even included a farm that supplied all the produce to feed the Ushaw community, which at its height during the 1950s numbered almost 500 staff and pupils.
