I Built This Playground!

Can you spare a few hours to support your community and improve what’s on offer to local children at Ushaw?

Want to meet new people, learn new skills and be part of creating something new? We need your help to build a natural playground area for families to enjoy for years to come.

We need both skilled and unskilled volunteers to help build fences, construct play equipment, move earth and landscape, weave willow tunnels, lay paths and many other important roles!

All over 18s welcome whatever your prior experience; all tools, and PPE equipment provided (please bring your own boots).
