Home Ed Forest School
We are pleased to offer a limited number of “pay on the day” places for Home Ed Forest School places this term. These are offered on a ‘first come, first served basis’ and can be purchased from the Visitor’s Centre from 10am on the morning of the session at a cost of £6 for members and £8 for non-members.
Ushaw warmly welcomes families who home educate to bring their children to spend Thursday afternoons in fresh air, good company and the great outdoors.
Forest School provides opportunities to explore the natural world, learn new skills, take calculated risks and socialise with others in an open and unstructured environment.
Join us in the stunning Ushaw Forest School site under a canopy of towering beech trees for woodland adventures, campfire cooking and much much more.
This version of Forest School is aimed at children who do not attend formal school settings.
Home Ed Forest School takes place every Thursday at 1:30pm – 3pm on the following dates:

- 22nd September
- 29th September
- 6th October
- 13th October
- 20th October
Each ticket type includes entry to 6 week course
