Father Christmas at Ushaw

Want to make memories with your little ones this December?

Visit Ushaw’s Winter Woodland and meet Father Christmas in his cosy Yuletide Yurt. Where you can make Forest School inspired tree decorations, create a gift for the woodland birds, and listen to seasonal stories whilst enjoying toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate around the campfire.

No festive visit would be complete without the opportunity to meet Father Christmas, and receive a small traditional gift to remember your time in the Ushaw Winter Woodland.

– Tuesday 13th December @ 10:30am – 12pm & 1pm – 2:30pm
– Wednesday 14th December @ 10:30am – 12pm & 1pm – 2:30pm

Please be aware that the majority of this activity will take place outdoors and will run in all but extreme weather conditions (e.g. gale force winds, heavy snow fall, ice, thunderstorms.) With this in mind, please ensure that all attending are dressed appropriately, with warm, waterproof clothing and study footwear.
