Creative Wellbeing

Creative Wellbeing is a varied group of people who share an interest in producing original works of art. The group meets weekly at the Eco Centre, Moore Lane, Newton Aycliffe.

Members view the production of new pieces as an uplifting and positive experience where they can forget their worries, relax and share a laugh.

Creative Wellbeing is led by Sheila Taylor and Sonia Burn who aim to inspire fellow members and pass on their knowledge. Sheila and Sonia promote a relaxed, informal and supportive atmosphere where participants are encouraged to express themselves with pencil, acrylics, watercolours, ink and mixed media.

Sonia has included a small number of her mandala and zentangle pieces – an involving and therapeutic technique based on intricate patterns.

Proceeds from any sales of Mark Pugh’s work will go to the charity Manhealth.
