Bunny Hunt! with Activate Theatre

The Ushaw Bunnies Picnic proved to be one of the most fun days of 2021, by popular demand the Bertie Bunny and friends are back for 2022, once again in partnership with the energetic and entertaining Activate Theatre!

Taking place on Saturday 16th April, kickstart your Easter Weekend by creating fond and fluffy Easter memories with your little bunnies this year. The whole family will have fun hopping along to a special Easter story, song time and go on a bunny hunt with the ever-entertaining Bertie Bunny.

Dressing up is welcomed, wear your best bonnet or bunny ears for the occasion!

Bunny Hunt! with Activate Theatre takes place at the following times:
11am – 11:45
12:15pm – 1pm (relaxed session, see more below)
1:30pm – 2:15pm
2:45pm – 3:30pm

The 12:15pm – 1pm session is a relaxed session, better suited to children who feel overwhelmed by sensory inputs such as loud noises. Please let us know if there are particular ways we can help your family enjoy this session by contacting events@ushaw.org.

Tickets only need to be purchased for Children. Entry for Adults (2 per family) is included with Ushaw Annual Pass and Daily Admission. Annual Passes can be purchased upon arrival at our Visitor Centre and online here. Daily Admission can be purchased upon arrival at our Visitor Centre.

Event takes place indoors and outdoors. 

Don’t forget to join us from Saturday 9th – Sunday 24th April for Ushaw Bunny Trail! Hop around the garden paths, follow the bunnies and find the spring-tastic word. Bring the answer to the visitor centre to claim your special sticker. Plus come inside and find the bunnies hiding around our Historic House & Chapels…
